Tonya Nilsen, Michael McDonald and Leonard S. Villafranco, P.A.

A long time Doobie Brother’s fan and a rock on roll wannabe, Port St. Lucie family law attorney and his fiance’, Tonya Nilsen, attended an evening with Michael McDonald at the beautiful Sunrise Theatre, located in the heart of downtown Fort Pierce on Friday, March 8, 2013.  With his husky, soulful baritone, Michael McDonald became one of Attorney Leonard S. Villafranco’s favorite vocalist, with one the most distinctive and popular voices to emerge from the pop/rock scene of the late ’70s.  McDonald found the middle ground between blue-eyed soul and smooth soft rock, a sound that made him a star.  He initially homed his signature style with Steely Dan and then with the Doobie Brothers, ushering in the group’s most popular period with hits like “What a Fool Believes” and “Taking It to the Streets.”  McDonald disbanded the group in 1982 to pursue his own solo career.  Stuart lawyer Leonard S. Villafranco is an avid supporter of the arts and the  local community. Please give him a call at his Port Saint Lucie or his Stuart office if you are in need of any legal assistance, or if you simply want to discuss rock and roll.
